Reconscribe is a free resource and tools portal built for Indian taxpayers, freelancers, small business owners and the accountants who serve them. We turn confusing tax and compliance topics into clear guides, and we build practical calculators you can actually use, with no signup and no jargon.
What Reconscribe does
We focus on two things. First, we track and explain changes in Indian taxation, accounting and corporate rules, then turn them into plain timelines, summaries and ready to use calculators. Second, we build automation and file tools that save accountants and business owners time on repetitive work, including our bank statement to Excel converter.
Who Reconscribe is for
If you file your own return, run a small business, freelance for Indian or overseas clients, or keep books for others, this site is built for you. Everything is written for real people rather than for a textbook, and every tool is free to use.
Free tools and calculators
Our calculators cover the questions people ask most around tax season. You can compare the old and new tax regimes, estimate your advance tax by due date, work out loan EMIs, and convert a PDF bank statement into a clean Excel file. Browse them all on the tools page.
Why we built it
Indian tax rules change often, and most explanations online are either too technical or too shallow. We started Reconscribe to give individuals and small teams a calmer, clearer place to understand what changed, what it means for them, and what to do next. The tools grew from the same idea: take a task that usually needs a spreadsheet and an hour, and make it take a minute.
How we work
Reconscribe is an independent, self funded project. We are not affiliated with any government ministry, revenue department or institute of Chartered Accountants, and we do not provide certified financial, tax or legal advice. For decisions specific to your situation, please consult a licensed professional in your region.
